Remember

This was the old flour sac baby project. When i said that I baked him into cookies, I meant BAKED him into cookies. Don't worry, he was a good baby, I REALLY enjoyed having him as a baby for a week (sure I did). Oh well...

Final Day, Day 5

Well today is the last day I thought. When the baby woke up, I changed him, and fed him. Then I walked around with him for a little while, and then I bounced him on my knee. He puked. After a clean up time, I took him and danced with him around the room, he giggled, and giggled. A hour later, I changed his diaper, but he didnt have any poopy, I wondered why. Then I realized, his breakfast had been regurgitated on me earlier. Then, I fed him. He ate a lot! I was so surprized. The last thing that I did with him was bake him into cookies. I'll not miss him to much.

Day 4

Today, when my baby woke up I changed his diaper, PU! Then he started to cry and I couldn't figure out what he wanted. Then it hit me like a meteorite, I FORGOT to feed him! Quickly I got his bottle, filled it, warmed it up, and fed him. He immediately stoped crying. Whew! After that, about two hours later I changed him, and bounced on my knee. Again, he liked that and was giggling the whole time. Then I fed him, and then it was down to art. I let him paint again. Only this time, he moved his hand, and spilled purple paint all over his body! Quickly I picked him up an thought "to the bath, like lightning!" I put him in the tub, and made sure the temperature was wright and gave him a long bath (it was OK because it was bath day anyway). Finally after a long day of hard work, it was bed time. Finally!

Day 3

When I went down in the morning to check on him I found him with a VERY stinky diaper. Changing time for him!! After that I fed him his favorite baby cereal and formula. About an hour later I decided it was play time. So, I took him on me knee and started to bounce him. He seemed to like this very much because he was smiling the whole time. This might have not been the best idea because he regurgitated right on my lap. Then, he looked up at me and started to giggle. This boy has got some humor in him. Two hours later I changed and fed him again. This time I waited more time then before, before bouncing him on my knee, and guess what, he didn't puke on me. What a day!

Day 2

Today I did many things with the baby. First, when the baby got up, I gave him his breakfist. Next I changed the diaper, it was sooo stinky. Next I gave him a bath. Warm water of course, with not too much soap. I kept his head over the water. Also, I gave him a nap, he was hard to get to sleep. When he got up I changed his diaper and fed him again. Being a parent is harder then I emagened.

Day 1

Today with my flour sac baby whose name is Jethro for fun time I painted with him. I held his hand and let him paint during art class. Then I fed him, he was hungrier then I expected. After that I burped him, he made a huge burp! Then it was nappy time, he slept for an hour and a half! That was work time for me. When he woke up, he got fed, and changed. Then we painted some more and at two oclock pm, he took another nap. He is such a good baby!

Info. On Baby Care

To care for a baby, there are many steps.
1. You MUST feed the baby or else it will starve. Take a bottle and pour milk into it, and heat it so it is warm. Make sure it is not too hot, then give the bottle to the baby. You should feed the baby every four hours for about twenty minouts.
2. Changing the diaper of the baby is crucal. If you do not,the diaper will get very messy, and the baby will cry. First, take the dirty diaper off the baby, then whipe the baby's you know what till it is clean. Then, powder and put a clean diaper on (it). You should change the diaper every three hours.
3. Do stuff with your baby. You can 1. talk with your baby (may just be a couple of bubbly sounds, play along). 2. take your baby for a walk (in a stroller of course) to the park, that way he/she could get freash air. 3. give the baby a raddle and a passiphire and just watch it. 4. you could also turn on a tv show like Barney or Teletubbies. Do this twice a day for fifteen to twenty minouts.
4. Nappy Time! To get your baby to sleep, put it in a cribb (NOT a bed, it could fall off) and put some blankets over it. If you are lucky, the baby will fall asleep (remember that babies are usualy not sleepy. Make sure your baby is asleep before you leave the room. Nap times should happen two times a day for one to two hours or as long as your baby sleeps.
5. Bath time is an important time of day. Turn on the bath water to luke-warm and place your baby in it. ALWAYS make sure the babies head is NOT under water (side affects include drowning, and upsetnes). Then skrub the babies body with baby soap, nothing too strong. You can always do this in the sink. Do this for about fifteen minouts every other day.
6. Babysiters are a good idea. Find a babysiter that will feed your baby, change its diaper, and not sit on your baby. This is a good idea for when you're at work.
These are really good tips!
